By using the Val's Little Haven website or booking our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Bookings

All bookings are requests until confirmed by Val's Little Haven. We will make every effort to accommodate your preferred date, time, and sitter, but availability is not guaranteed until confirmation is provided.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the session start time incur no charge.
  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the session may be charged the full session fee.
  • No-shows without prior notice will be charged the full session fee.
  • Val's Little Haven reserves the right to cancel a session due to sitter illness or emergency, in which case no charge will apply.

Payment

Payment is due upon completion of each session unless otherwise agreed. Invoices are issued through our online system and may be paid via bank transfer or online payment.

Parent Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information about your children, including medical conditions, allergies, and emergency contacts.
  • Ensure your home is safe and suitable for childcare.
  • Be contactable by phone during the session.
  • Inform us of any changes to your child's health or circumstances before the session.

Our Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive, safe, and caring supervision for your children.
  • Follow any reasonable instructions you provide regarding your child's care.
  • Contact you or emergency services immediately in the event of an accident or emergency.
  • Maintain current Working with Children Checks and relevant qualifications.

Liability

Val's Little Haven takes every reasonable precaution to ensure the safety of children in our care. However, we are not liable for injuries, illness, or loss of property that occur despite reasonable care being taken. Parents acknowledge that caring for children involves inherent risks.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
